Lee Peterson is a longtime member of the Craig Swapp firm and the managing attorney at our Spokane Valley office. Lee attended E. Washington University and graduated with a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Government Studies in 1993. While in college, he was elected as the student representative to serve on the EWU Disciplinary Board. He later attended law school at Thomas Jefferson School of Law located in San Diego, and graduated with his Juris Doctorate in 1998. While in law school, Lee served as president of the Intellectual Property Club and holds a US Patient on a golfing product.

Lee is a multi-year recipient of the firm’s highest honor as the top producing attorney and team. Lee is a member of Washington State Bar Association, the Idaho State Bar, the US District Court Western District of Washington, the US District Court Eastern District of Washington, the Spokane County Bar Association, Kootenai County Bar Association, John Grey Bench Bar (Idaho), and the Washington and Idaho Trial Lawyers Associations.

Lee specializes in handing auto accidents, truck accidents, motorcycle accidents, premises negligence, product liability and wrongful death, and has been successful in obtaining several million dollar plus awards for his clients.

Lee enjoys boating and water sports with his grandchildren, off-road driving, traveling domestic and abroad, camping, hiking, San Diego Charger football, and Gonzaga Basketball (since he married to a Gonzaga Law Grad).

“I was concerned with all the paperwork”

Before calling your firm I had 2 big worries. One was I didn’t want to do more paper work, and that fear was resolved when I had to do very little, but Craig Swapp and Assoc. did most of it, and when I did have to come in to sign papers they worked around the times I could do it. Worry 2 was I didn’t want people to think I was “sue happy” and that I was just out to get money. I just wanted my bills to be paid for that were from the accident, and that was resolved I think by Mr. Wes Mortenson and Theresa because they listened to what I had to say.
