Attorney Wes Mortensen practices personal injury law at Craig Swapp & Associates Spokane office, and is licensed to practice law in the states of Washington, Idaho, California and New Mexico. He is also licensed to practice in United States District Court in the Eastern District of Washington and District of New Mexico, as well as United States Court of Appeals (Tenth Circuit). His focus is on negotiating, litigating, mediating, and arbitrating cases involving automobile accidents, truck accidents, wrongful death, and negligent injury.
Wes attended Brigham Young University on scholarship and graduated in 2001 with a Bachelor’s degree in International Law and Diplomacy, and with a minor in Japanese studies. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from Brigham Young University’s J. Reuben Clark Law School in 2004. While at law school, Wes was lead editor of the BYU Journal of Public Law and was recognized with an award for Outstanding Student Contribution in First Year Civil Procedure.
Since his graduation, Wes has been associated with law firms in Washington, New Mexico and California gaining professional experience in various areas of the law, including commercial and construction litigation, employment law, product and professional liability, trademark law, and workers compensation.
Wes enjoys spending time with his family and playing acoustic guitar, as well as snow and water skiing.
