Workers’ Compensation Attorney Chad Gessel practices law handling the
negotiating and settling of administrative workers’ comp claims arising
from injuries in the workplace. As a workers’ comp attorney, Chad is
committed to help employees collect rightful compensation for their medical
bills and lost wages, as well as benefits for permanent impairments.
Chad Gessel is currently licensed to practice law in Utah and is a member
of the Utah State Bar. He is also a member of the Criminal Law Association
and the Organization for the Advancement of Women in Law.
Chad graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice (with a minor
in French) from the Utah Valley University in 2014. He then earned his
Juris Doctorate in 2017 at the University of Oklahoma College of Law.
While at law school, he was involved with OU Legal Services. Previous to
his schooling, he served a two-year volunteer mission for his church in

working for the West Valley City Attorney’s Office and Open Legal Services.
Chad is fluent in French. In his spare time, he enjoys running (including
the Salt Lake Marathon), backcountry camping and hiking.
