Lee obtained his bachelor’s degree in government studies in 1993 from Eastern Washington University, where he was elected as the student representative to serve on the EWU Disciplinary Board for two years. He earned his Juris Doctorate from the Thomas Jefferson School of Law located in San Diego in 1998. In law school, Lee served as president of the Intellectual Property Club and clerked at Silldorf, Burdman & Eisenberg in San Diego.
Since 2002, he has practiced law in Washington State, handling cases that involved criminal defense and domestic relations. For the past several years, he has assisted two superior court judges in Spokane with their case status dockets by providing pro bono services to low income single mothers and fathers and/or married couples seeking dissolution of their marriage.
From 2002 to 2007, Lee served as an Officer and a Trustee for the YLD division of the Spokane County Bar Association. He is a member of Washington State Bar Family Law Section, the Washington State Bar Criminal Defense Section, and the Washington State Trial Lawyers Association.
Lee enjoys boating and water sports, off-road driving, camping, hiking, golf, softball, San Diego Charger football, and visiting national parks.
