I’m Attorney Erik Highberg and I’m a Spokane Native
“Spokane is who I am. You can say it’s in my blood. After all, it was over 130 years ago when my original ancestors settled down here in Spokane. Today, my family still farms the land that was part of that pioneer homestead. I even live in the original family home with my wife Megan, and our two teenage daughters. As a family, we enjoy Spokane’s winter snow as much as spending our summers on the pristine mountain lakes.
“Having grown up in Spokane, I’ve come to love what Spokane offers: hard-working people, the beauty of the land, and a strong community spirit. Because Spokane has given so much to me and my family, it’s important to me to give something back to my community. That’s why I’ve served as an emergency medical technician and volunteer firefighter since 1985, and continue now as an EMS lieutenant for Spokane County Fire District 9, Station 94.
“But nothing gives me more satisfaction than helping people who come to Craig Swapp & Associates with their personal injury cases. It’s truly sad to see how giant insurance companies take advantage of people’s trust. True to my Spokane roots, I fight hard for my clients and get them the justice they deserve.
“It’s what I do. It’s who I am.”
I’m Attorney Lee Peterson and I Call Spokane Home
“Spokane prides itself as ‘Near Nature, Near Perfect,’ and that’s why I tell everyone Spokane is my home. You see, I grew up here in Spokane breathing the sweet air, enjoying nature, and living among those who savor life.
“I’m all about boating, four-wheeling, camping and hiking. I find that and more here in Spokane. I love the beautiful lakes and the majestic mountains – all surrounding a beautiful city with a small town personality. And, here I live among great friends who share the same values as me and my family.
“When my neighbors ask me what I do, I’m pleased to say I’m a personal injury attorney for Craig Swapp & Associates. Spokane folks are proud of their liberties, and my passion is protecting those rights. Nothing gives me more satisfaction than battling the big insurance companies on behalf of those whose lives have been turned upside down by another’s negligence.
“Spokane has given me a great life. I want to return the favor.”
I’m Cara and I love Spokane.
“I love living here in the Spokane area, especially being able to enjoy all four seasons. Only in Spokane can you seek out the thrills of winter sports and a few months later find yourself camping in the mountains. There’s no greater opportunity to enjoy nature than right here in Spokane.
“I also find the people here wonderful. In my position at Craig Swapp & Associates, I get a chance to welcome many unique and friendly people to our legal office in Spokane Valley. Despite the challenges they face from being injured from accidents, they seem to face each day with courage and optimism. Its makes me proud to know we’re able to help them get back on their feet again.”
I’m Joseph Nowels and I Was Born and Raised in Spokane.
“Having been born and raised in Spokane, it’s safe to say that I’m sold on everything that Spokane has to offer – and that’s why I live here today. Most of my friends know me as an outdoor kind of guy. Give me some skis, a snowmobile, a backpack and a free weekend, and I’m a happy man!
“As an accident investigator for Craig Swapp & Associates, I get a chance to meet lots of people, not only here in Spokane, but from all over Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho – from Moses Lake to Sandpoint. I appreciate the opportunity to sit down with our clients and examine the facts behind their cases. With those facts, we take the fight to the insurance company on behalf of our clients, so that they can spend their energy healing from their injuries.”
I’m Julie Pendleton and I Call Spokane My Home.
“I moved to Spokane 25 years ago and it was the best decision I ever made. I enjoy Downtown, the holiday season, and especially the beautiful weather. I tell everyone I know Spokane is a great place to work and raise a family. The outdoors is incredible. My husband will tell you that nothing is more exhilarating to me than boating across a silky smooth lake on a warm summer evening!
“As a paralegal at Craig Swapp & Associates, I’m here to help people navigate the legal challenges associated with motor vehicle accidents. The insurance industry is a huge business that profits by not paying accident victims what is fair. Craig Swapp & Associates is one law firm who’s not afraid to take on the insurance company and their lawyers. I’m proud to be part of the team.”
I’m Laurae Long and I Live Here In Spokane.
“My family did me a huge favor when we moved to Spokane back in 1968. As a small child, I immediately took to Spokane and was soon calling it ‘home.’ Not only was Spokane a great place to grow up, but I found it an ideal place to raise my daughters and begin even another generation. As you can tell, I love the family values associated with Spokane and wouldn’t trade my experiences here for anything!
“As a paralegal at Craig Swapp & Associates, I take great pride in my work. On a daily basis, not only do I meet with our clients and attorneys, I coordinate our efforts with medical professionals, court officials and insurance adjustors. Each time one of our clients walks out the door with a full and fair settlement, I find myself smiling. After all, I helped make that happen.”
I’m Marty Woolf and I’m a Spokane Original.
“I’m proud that I was born and raised here in Spokane. As a kid, I mastered my golf swing on Spokane’s most challenging courses, which helped me earn a spot on the Eastern Washington University golf team. At the first hint of snow each autumn, I’m never hesitant to toss my clubs in the closet because I know that in a couple weeks I’ll be skiing and snowmobiling. Only in Spokane!
“When I joined up with Craig Swapp & Associates as an accident investigator, I soon realized the importance of my job. Not only am I there to establish the facts of the accident, but I am also the first member of the law firm our clients meet. That’s why it’s important for me to do my job well and help establish trust with our clients. At Craig Swapp & Associates, we take that trust seriously.”
I’m Lauri Peck and I’ve Adopted Spokane.
While most of my co-workers are Spokane natives, I confess I moved here from California a few years back. But all said and done, I admit it was the best decision of my life. Leaving the crowded freeways and bustle of the West Coast for the beauty and fresh air of Spokane was a perfect choice for me and my family.
“As both an office manager and a paralegal at Craig Swapp & Associates, I get a chance to work closely with Craig Swapp and our other attorneys. I see how hard they work for the rights of our clients. On a daily basis I see the passion in their eyes as they fight for justice for accident victims. It’s very rewarding.”
